Our mission at Daedalus is to foster a positive culture of healthy exploration; one where students grow and continually discover how life and learning are inseparable. Expert guides and compassionate counselors help students along the way, while letting each one of them stand a little stronger, one success or failure at a time. Instructors guide learners through an understanding of new concepts and the building of new skills, then also how to put them to creative use. Daedalus mentors coach students through the challenges of life.
Daedalus curriculum and programs cater to high interest learners, providing a path through fundamental lessons, with an aim toward allowing students to guide themselves with additional projects. These programs are not designed to bring students to any form of minimum standard. Cooperative and respectfully competitive gaming is encouraged, along with other forms of imaginative play allowing, encouraging learners to develop healthy habits for approaching new subjects. Daedalus also encourages the requisite amount of isolated learning and skill training learners need to master skills and build personal confidence.
